Orkut, the first socail media network which went obsolete in 2000’s, is making a comeback in the form of ‘Hello’. The new app by the creator of Orkut.com, Orkut Buyukkokten, has Facebook-like features and allows users to create and join communities.
In addition, users can create personas and build their reputation within the network. The company says that the Hello communities are public and anyone sharing the same passion can join them. The app is currently in beta phase and could soon move out of it for an overall launch.
Buyukkokten launched the beta version of the Hello in India last year. So far there have been around 50,000 installs of the app. The details given on the Play Store reveal that the app is compatible with devices running Android 4.4 and above.
